Asami Hara is a Japanese voice actress affiliated with the agency Wise Production. She is originally from Itami City in Hyogo Prefecture and was born on November 18th. She initially performed under the name Asami Hara but changed her stage name to Asami Hanase on July 1, 2019. Prior to her voice acting career, she attended beauty school and worked as a hairdresser. She later trained at the Osaka school of Tokyo Seiyu Produce, where she also served as the head host for the web program Seiyu Fighters.
Hara made her animated series debut in 2015 with minor roles in the series Ushio & Tora. She is recognized for playing the role of Tamako Tamai in the anime series Dagashi Kashi and its sequel, Dagashi Kashi 2.
