Charlie Schlatter is an American actor and voice performer known for a career that spans both live-action television and animation. He was born Charles Thomas Schlatter on May 1, 1966, in Englewood, New Jersey, and was raised in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. He discovered his passion for acting in high school and later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Ithaca College.

Schlatter began his on-screen career in the late 1980s with film roles including Bright Lights, Big City, Heartbreak Hotel, and 18 Again!. In 1990, he played the title role in the NBC sitcom Ferris Bueller. He is perhaps best known for his long-running role as Dr. Jesse Travis on the CBS series Diagnosis: Murder, a part he played for six seasons opposite Dick Van Dyke.

Since the 1990s, Schlatter has built an extensive career as a voice actor. In the world of animation, he has voiced The Flash across several DC Comics properties, including Superman: The Animated Series, The Batman, and Justice League Action, as well as in animated films like Batman Unlimited: Animal Instincts. He provided the voice for the title character in the Disney XD series Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil. Other notable television voice roles include Ace Bunny in Loonatics Unleashed, Kevin Levin in Ben 10, Timmy in the Nickelodeon version of Winx Club, and Chad Applewhite in Big Nate.

In the Transformers franchise, Schlatter voiced the character Vertebreak in the 2015 animated series Transformers: Robots in Disguise. Vertebreak is a Decepticon scientist who appears in the episode Some Body, Any Body.

Schlatter has also had a significant presence in video games. He voiced Major Raikov in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Specter in Ape Escape 3, and the main protagonist Wonder-Red in The Wonderful 101. He has also voiced Robin and reprised his role as The Flash in several Lego video game titles, including Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, and Lego Dimensions.
