Eddie Deezen is an American actor, voice actor, and comedian known for a career that spans both live-action and animation. Born Edward Harry Deezen on March 6, 1957 in Cumberland, Maryland, he began working in film and television in the late 1970s. In live-action, he became familiar to audiences for playing nerdy characters in popular movies such as Grease, Grease 2, 1941, and WarGames.

His transition into voice acting occurred in the mid-1980s, a move he favored for reasons including better pay and not needing to memorize dialogue. One of his earliest voice roles was Donnie Dodo in the Presents Follow That Bird, followed by the role of Snipes the Magpie in Don Bluth`s 1991 film Rock-A-Doodle.

Deezen is perhaps best known for his long-running role as Mandark, the nemesis of the title character on the Cartoon Network series Dexter's Laboratory, which he voiced for the shows entire run from 1996 to 2003. He reprised this role for the television special Dexters Laboratory: Ego Trip and several video games. Other significant television voice roles include Ned on the Disney Channel series Kim Possible and various guest spots on shows like Johnny Bravo, Recess, Darkwing Duck, and What`s New, Scooby-Doo?.

In 2004, Deezen worked with director Robert Zemeckis on the holiday film The Polar Express, providing both voice and motion capture performance for the character known as Lenny or the Know-It-All. He also reprised this role for the films subsequent video game adaptation. In the Transformers franchise, specifically the 2015 animated series Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Deezen voiced the character Ped, a Decepticon who resembles an earthworm-like fiddler. He has also lent his voice to radio and television commercials, including as the voice of Pop for Rice Krispies cereal commercials in the late 1990s and as Nacho, a mascot for Taco Bell kids meals.
