Yosei Bun
Description
Yosei Bun is a voice actor born on August 20, 1983, in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. After coming to Japan in 2004 to study the language, he graduated from the Japanese Studies Department at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in 2013. In addition to formal university education, he also attended a voice acting school at night.
His career is notable as a Chinese voice actor working in the Japanese animation industry. He made his debut and gained significant attention in 2014 when he was cast as Kong Wenge, also known as Kon "China" Wenga, in the series Ping Pong. This role became his major representative work. In 2016, he voiced the character Chen Zixian (also credited as Zi Xuan Chen) in the series Cheer Boys!!. His other voice work includes the character Morio in the 2014 live-action film adaptation of Kiki's Delivery Service.
Beyond anime, Yosei Bun has participated in various media and commercial projects. He appeared as a character named Sakai for the educational program TV de Chugoku on NHK and as a reporter in the Fuji Television drama Moon Lovers. His commercial work includes narrations and appearances for brands such as Nikon, Sekisui House, and NTT Docomo. For NTT Docomo, he specifically wrote lyrics and performed a song for a commercial titled 3 Second Cooking: Explosion Speed Gyoza.
