Jun Miruno is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on September 14, 1981 in Nara Prefecture, Japan. She is also known by the stage name miru for her musical activities. Miruno studied at Osaka University of the Arts, where she was part of the performing arts department focusing on acting and directing. Her performance career began in 1991 when she appeared as Tessie in a Japanese production of the stage musical Annie.
Miruno began working as a voice actress in the early 2000s. Her first television anime role was the character Kaako in the series Akahori Gedou Hour Rabuge, which aired in 2005. She has since voiced a variety of characters across anime, video games, and dubbed foreign productions. One of her notable supporting roles is Rumi Takaoka in the 2008 series True Tears. She also voiced Shisu in the series Weiß Survive and its follow-up Weiß Survive R. Another significant role is Nicole Oyama, a main character in the children's anime series Kamiwaza Wanda, where her character is a cheerful preteen who hosts her own radio show. For this role, Miruno incorporated some English terms into Nicole's dialogue. Her other anime work includes voice roles in Gintama and Idolish7, as well as a minor role as a female soldier in Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V.
