Lori Bachynski is a voice actress and on-screen performer known for her work in English-language dubs of anime series and video games. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and later based in Calgary, Alberta, she is also recognized under the name Lori Barnes-Smith in some credits. She is a member of the ACTRA union, representing performers in Canadian media. Bachynski began voice acting as early as 2001 and has maintained an active career across animation and interactive media.

One of Bachynski's most prominent anime voice roles is Honoka Maki in the English dub of the series Kiznaiver. Honoka Maki, also known as the High-and-Mighty, is a main character in the story, which follows a group of students connected through a shared experience of pain. Before her work on Kiznaiver, Bachynski (credited as Lori Barnes-Smith) voiced several significant characters in other anime series. Her credits include Ai Mori in The Law of Ueki, Haruka Suzuhiro in My-HiME, and both Erstin Ho and Haruka Armitage in My-Otome and its OAV sequel, My-Otome Zwei. She also provided voices for characters in the original Pretty Cure series, playing the roles of Lillian and Sophie.

Beyond her work in television anime, Bachynski has contributed to a number of video game titles. She voiced the character Elle Vianno across multiple entries in the Dynasty Warriors Gundam series, including the original, Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2, and Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3. Her work in the Gundam franchise also includes providing the voice for Kisato Yamabuki and another character named Elle in the game Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Never Ending Tomorrow. An additional voice role in animation includes the Heavens Arena 200th Floor Clerk in the 1999 version of the anime Hunter x Hunter.
