Katrina Salisbury

Description
Katrina Salisbury is a voice actress known for her work in animation, anime, and video game dubbing. She is a native of Vancouver, Canada, where she began her performance training. Her path to voice acting was not direct; before pursuing acting full-time, she was a competitive horseback rider in the rodeo circuit and later an auto-cross racer. After achieving success in those fields, she returned to her early love of performance in 2013, training at the Vancouver Acting School, where she discovered her passion for voice-over work.

Salisbury’s career includes a range of roles across different genres and age groups. In anime, she is known for providing the English dub voice of Nico Niyama in the series Kiznaiver, an Aniplex production about a group of teenagers connected by a shared pain-sharing system. Her work in animation includes roles in several prominent children's series. She voiced Yona, a young yak, in Hasbro's My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, a role she has cited as a personal favorite. She also appeared as Nina in the PBS series Molly of Denali, which centers on an Indigenous family in Alaska. Her credits extend to international productions, including the Korean children's show Tobot, as well as the series Beyblade Burst. In video games, she has provided the voice for the character Iansan in Genshin Impact.

Outside of performance, Salisbury has explored writing and directing. She completed a live-action short film titled The Chaddening, which was named a finalist in Vancouver's Blood N' Guts competition. In recognition of her work, she was announced as a guest of honor at BABSCon, a My Little Pony fan convention, in 2023.
