The actor began his performance career in commercials before moving to stage roles in the Los Angeles area, where he was a founding member of the Friends and Artist Theatre Ensemble. His entry into voice acting occurred by chance through a friend, but he later came to consider it a significant part of his career.

In the realm of anime, the actor has an extensive filmography. He is known for voicing the character Ross Sylibus in the English version of the cyberpunk series Armitage III, using the Hank Wilspank pseudonym for this role.
