Hamilton Camp

Description
Hamilton Camp performed the English dub voice of Professor Moriarty in the anime series Sherlock Hound. In that series, he voiced the arch-nemesis of the title character, an anthropomorphic wolf whose elaborate schemes are consistently thwarted by the detective. While the user query mentions a role as Todd in Sherlock Hound, available records indicate that Todd was voiced by a different actor, Lewis Arquette.

Beyond his work on Sherlock Hound, Camp had an extensive career as a voice actor, though his credits are predominantly in Western animation rather than Japanese anime. He was born in London, England, on October 30, 1934, and later relocated to the United States, where he built a long career in television, film, and voice-over work before his death on October 2, 2005.

Camp is widely recognized for providing the voice of Fenton Crackshell, also known as the superhero GizmoDuck, in the original DuckTales series, appearing in nearly a quarter of its episodes. He also voiced the same character in the spinoff series Darkwing Duck. Among his other notable animation roles were Greedy Smurf and Harmony Smurf on the long-running series The Smurfs, various characters in the Scooby-Doo franchise including Count Dracula in Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf, Turk Tarpit in The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones, and a young Barney Rubble in The Flintstone Kids. Camp also voiced the Prophet of Mercy in the video game Halo 2.

In addition to voice acting, Camp was a singer-songwriter who co-wrote the folk song Pride of Man and performed as a folk musician in the early 1960s. His live-action television appearances include guest roles on series such as MAS*H, Cheers, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
