Taeko Kawada is a Japanese freelance voice actress from Tokyo, born on March 20, 1965. She began her career in 1986 after training at the Tokyo Announce Academy while working at a confectionery shop and subsequently joined the talent management firm 81 Produce. She was affiliated with 81 Produce until 2010, after which she became a freelancer. In 2019, she established her own private firm, T-River LLC.

Kawada is widely recognized for her long-running role as Amy Rose in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, a part she has voiced since 1998 across numerous video games and animated series such as Sonic X. Other significant anime roles include the second voice of Arale Norimaki in Dr. Slump, Toshiko Tsuchihashi in Chibi Maruko-chan, Chypre in HeartCatch PreCure!, and the transparent baby Shizuka Joestar in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable. She also provided the voice for the Sanrio character Cinnamoroll. In the series Nyani ga Nyandaa Nyandaa Kamen, she voiced the character Nyandaa Karen, also known as Miiko, for the first thirteen episodes. She also voices the character Vanillan in both the first and second seasons of the anime iii icecrin.

Throughout her career, Kawada has been noted for her frequent portrayal of young child or infant characters. She formed a voice acting unit named Windy's murmur with the late fellow voice actress Atsuko Tanaka.
