David Jarvis is a voice actor known for his work on English-language dubs of anime films, particularly during the 1990s. Hailing from Canada, Jarvis was a member of the BBC Radio Drama Company from 1993 to 1994 and has extensive experience as a voice artist across various media, including dubbing numerous manga films and foreign television series in the 1990s.

Jarvis is most recognized for his contributions to the Patlabor film series. He provided the English voice for the character Asuma Shinohara in the 1995 English dub of the 1989 film Patlabor: The Movie. He reprised this role in the 1995 English dub of the 1993 sequel, Patlabor 2: The Movie. These films, directed by Mamoru Oshii, are considered classics of the mecha and science fiction anime genres. In both productions, Jarvis was part of an English cast that also included Briony Glassco as Noa Izumi and Peter Marinker as Captain Kiichi Goto. The Patlabor films have seen multiple English dubs produced over the years, with later dubs featuring other actors such as Doug Erholtz and Julie Ann Taylor in the roles of Asuma and Noa respectively.
