Ami Himesaki

Description
Ami Himesaki is a Japanese voice actor and singer who began her career as an idol before transitioning into anime voice work. She was born on January 19, 1994, in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.

Himesaki first gained public attention as a member of the Japanese idol group LinQ, where she joined as a first-generation member in April 2011 and remained with the group until her graduation in 2017. During her time with LinQ, she also pursued a solo singing career, announcing in November 2013 that she would debut as a solo vocaloid idol under the name amihime on the T-Palette Records label starting in spring 2014.

Her voice acting career began in 2015. She made her anime debut voicing the character Karen Takano in the series Venus Project: Climax, which aired in the summer of 2015 as part of a larger multimedia idol project that also included video games and manga. The anime adaptation consisted of six anime episodes, and Himesaki was part of the main cast for this series.

Also in July 2015, Himesaki took on the role of Mutsuko Tomura in the horror anime short series Kurayami Santa. The series, set in 1960s Kyushu, was produced through a collaboration between ILCA and Kyushu Asahi Broadcasting and was designed to evoke the visual style of black and white television anime from that era. In this production, she worked alongside established voice actors including Kazuko Sugiyama as the title character Santa Kurayami and Hidekatsu Shibata as Daiō Enma.

Beyond these two anime television roles, Himesaki also performed in stage theater. In March 2013, she played the character Alicia in a stage adaptation of the manga Shinigami Hime no Saikon. Her voice acting credits appear to be concentrated in the mid-2010s, coinciding with her period of solo musical activity and her final years as a member of LinQ.
