Momoka Ōno

Momoka Ōno is a Japanese actress and voice actress born on August 19, 2001, in Tokyo, Japan. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a child actor in 2007, initially appearing in commercials before expanding into television dramas and feature films. She was affiliated with the talent agency Amuse.

Ōno is known for her work in both live-action and animated productions. Her most prominent voice roles in anime include providing the voice for a young Yuki, the daughter in the critically acclaimed 2012 film Wolf Children (おおかみこどもの雨と雪). This marked a significant entry into voice acting for the young performer. She subsequently voiced the childhood version of the character Jiromaru (the boyhood Jirōmaru) in another film by the same director, Mamoru Hosoda's 2015 feature The Boy and the Beast (バケモノの子). Her involvement in these two major anime films represents a notable collaboration with director Hosoda.

Prior to her voice work, Ōno gained recognition for her live-action roles. She starred in the 2010 film Kinako: Police Dog Dream (実習警犬物語), a performance that earned her the Newcomer of the Year Award at the 34th Japan Academy Prize in 2011. Her other film credits include Mitsuko Delivers (ハラがコレなんで) and appearances in various Japanese television dramas such as魔王 (Maō) (2008),不被原谅的搜查官 (Joker Yurusarezaru Sosakan) (2010), and我的乖乖女 (My Girl) (2009). Her active career in the public eye spanned approximately a decade, from 2007 to around 2017.
