Bernard Jourdain is a French actor, voice actor, stage director, author, screenwriter, and novelist. He was born in Angoulême and pursued studies in modern literature before working in theater and later moving into film and documentary direction. His voice acting work was primarily active during the 1970s and 1980s.

In the field of anime dubbing, Jourdain is known for several key roles in French-language versions of classic series and films. He provided the voice for Daisuke Jigen in the first French dub of the 1978 film Lupin the Third: The Mystery of Mamo, which was produced in the 1980s. He also played the role of Archibald Cornwell in the series Candy Candy, as well as Terry Granchester for one episode. His other anime roles include Marc in Battle of the Planets and Ken l'Aigle in Eagle Patrol (Video dub). He also voiced a friend of Bob in the series Nobody's Boy Remi and one of the brothers in a 1962 adaptation of The Wild Swans.

Beyond his work in animation, Jourdain had an extensive career dubbing live-action films and television series into French. His credits include dubbing actors such as Timothy Hutton, Robert Carradine, and Dennis Christopher. He also worked as a novelist, winning the Cognac Prize for crime fiction in 2005.
