Marcel Guido was a French actor, voice director, and singer whose career in dubbing spanned several decades. He was born on October 2, 1941, and passed away on April 4, 2026. Guido was notably one of the regular French voices for several prominent Hollywood actors, including Victor Garber, Bruce Davison, and Martin Sheen.

In the world of animation and anime, Guido had a prolific career providing French dubbing voices for numerous series and films. He is known for voicing the iconic character Lupin in the French dub of the 1978 anime film Lupin the Third: The Secret of Mamo, also known as Lupin III: Le Secret de Mamo. His other notable anime and animation roles included Simon Stagg in Justice League, John Castaway in Gargoyles, and Megatron and Galvatron in the French dub of The Transformers: The Movie. He also provided voices for The Simpsons as Roger Meyers, for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, as well as for numerous other series such as Daimos as the narrator, and the films Chicken Little and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Beyond his voice work in front of the microphone, Guido also worked as a voice director.
