Alessia La Monica is an Italian voice actress and dialogue writer born in Rome on August 9, 1970. She is the daughter of actor and voice actor Luigi La Monica and dialogue writer Julie Gilardin. La Monica worked as a dubbing assistant for twenty-two years before dedicating herself more fully to voice acting and dialogue adaptation.
One of her most recognized anime voice roles is Motoko Aoyama in the series Love Hina, including the Love Hina Spring Special - I Wish Your Dream. Her other notable voice work in animated series includes roles in Winx Club, where she voiced characters including Diaspro, Lusiz, Amentia, and Arcadia, as well as Chowder in Chowder - Scuola di cucina, Pete in Quattro occhi!, Cody in Digimon Adventure 02, and Sanae Yukishiro as a child in Pretty Cure.
In 2021, La Monica received an award at the Voci nell'Ombra dubbing festival alongside Roberto Gammino for her work on the adaptation of the series Lupin.
