Fred Henderson
Description
Fred Henderson is a Canadian actor and voice actor based in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he has worked extensively with the Ocean Studios voice-over company. His career spans both live-action film and television productions as well as numerous anime voice roles for English-language dubs. Henderson's work is particularly notable within the Gundam franchise. He provided the voice for Ulen Hibiki in Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and later portrayed Colonel Todaka in its sequel series, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny. In the live-action television movie G-Saviour, set in the Gundam universe, he played the role of President Hawke. Beyond the Gundam series, Henderson voiced the character Ichiro Koyama in the anime series Human Crossing. He also appeared in the English dub of Black Lagoon as Masahiro Takenaka and in Saiunkoku Monogatari as the Big Boss. His role as Isaburo Sasaki in the long-running series Gintama is another significant credit. Further anime voice work includes roles in Ayakashi - Samurai Horror Tales as Samon Yotsuya, Death Note as the Yoshida President, and an appearance as a Military Commander in The Daichis - Earth Defence Family. In the English dub of Iron Man: Armored Adventures, Henderson voiced Howard Stark. He also performed the role of Commissioner General in the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Individual Eleven OAV. In addition to his animation work, Henderson has appeared in numerous live-action films and television series, including roles in Final Destination 2, The Company You Keep, and the television series Superman & Lois.
