Laurent Sao is the professional name of Laurent Chauvet, a Belgian actor who specializes in dubbing and works primarily in France. He trained at the Institut National Supérieur des Arts du Spectacle in Brussels, an education that laid the foundation for his career in performance.

Sao is most widely recognized for his extensive voice work in major anime series dubbed into French. He is the French voice of protagonist Yugi Muto and his alter ego Yami Yugi in the long-running series Yu-Gi-Oh!, a role he has also reprised in related projects such as Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters, and the Yu-Gi-Oh! feature film. Another significant role in his career is voicing the character Pierre, known in English as Brock, in the Pokémon anime series.
