Masami Hisamoto is a Japanese actress, comedian, television personality, and voice actor. She was born on July 9, 1958, in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. Hisamoto's career spans several decades, during which she has become a familiar face on Japanese television, most notably as a long-running judge on the popular talent show Super Variation. Beyond her live-action work, she has also taken on select roles in animated films.

In the field of voice acting, Hisamoto is known for her performances in several major anime feature films. In 2004, she voiced the character Izaya in the movie One Piece: The Curse of the Sacred Sword, the fifth film in the long-running One Piece franchise. In this film, Izaya is an elderly woman from Asuka Island who serves as the grandmother of a supporting character named Maya and helps lead her village's rituals.

Her additional voice roles include providing the Japanese dub voice for Morgana in the 2006 Disney animated film The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea. In 2007, she joined the cast of the Doraemon franchise, voicing the characters of Medusa and the mother of the character Miyoko in the film Doraemon: Nobita's New Great Adventure into the Underworld.
