Jon Lachlan Stewart is a Canadian actor and playwright who has also built a career as a voice actor for English-language anime dubs. He grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, where he began writing plays as a child, some of which were performed at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival. Stewart later studied theatre at Studio 58 in Vancouver, British Columbia. In 2004, he co-founded Surreal SoReal, a theatre company that produces and tours original plays across Canada.

Stewart works as a voice actor with Blue Water Studios, a Calgary-based dubbing studio. One of his most prominent roles is providing the English voice for Kamille Bidan, the protagonist of the anime series Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. He also reprised this role for most video game appearances of the character up until the Dynasty Warriors Gundam series. Another of his notable anime roles is Taishi Miwa in the English adaptation of the first season of Cardfight!! Vanguard, credited under the name Jon Lachlan Stewart.

Beyond his voice work, Stewart has an established career in theatre. His playwriting credits include Little Room, which received nominations for two Edmonton Sterling Awards, Grumplestock's, Twisted Thing, Eleanor, and The City Green. He has also received a nomination for a Jessie Award, which honors excellence in Vancouver theatre, for his work as a stage actor.
