Jean-Bernard Guillard is a French actor known for his extensive work in voice dubbing, particularly for animation and video games. Born in Saintes, Charente-Maritime, France, his career spans both stage and screen, including performances with the theatre troupe of Antoine Vitez and in films directed by Raoul Ruiz, such as Les Trois couronnes du matelot.

In the world of animated features, Guillard is recognized as the French voice of Kerchak, the gorilla leader, in Disney's Tarzan (1999) and its sequel Tarzan 2: L'Enfance d'un héros (2005). He also voiced Rick Dicker in both Les Indestructibles (The Incredibles, 2004) and its sequel Les Indestructibles 2 (2018). His other notable animated film roles include the psychoanalyst in Fourmiz (Antz, 1998), the mayor in Osmosis Jones (2001), Bryan in Happy Feet 2 (2011), and Vertigo in Suicide Squad: Le Prix de l'Enfer (Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay, 2018).

For Japanese anime series dubbed into French, Guillard has voiced several prominent characters. He portrayed Ronandt in So I'm a Spider, So What? (2021) and Danblf in She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man (2022). In the Star Trek: Prodigy animated series, which began airing in 2021, he provides the voice for the character known as the Devin. He also voiced Kaiser and other characters in the Animatrix anthology.

He is known as the consistent French voice for American actor Stephen Lang, having dubbed him in major films such as Avatar (2009) as Colonel Miles Quaritch, Don't Breathe (2016) and its sequel, and Conan (2011). He is also the regular voice for William Shatner, Jesper Christensen, Sam Elliott, and Tony Amendola in various productions.

A recurring collaboration in his career is with the actor Tom Braidwood, as Guillard has dubbed Braidwood's character, Melvin Frohike, across multiple series including X-Files: Aux frontières du réel (The X-Files), The Lone Gunmen: Au cœur du complot, and the 1998 video game The X-Files, le jeu. He also frequently collaborates with actor Leon Rippy, providing his French voice in series like Alcatraz, Under the Dome, and Blacklist.
