Katsui Taira is a Japanese voice actor born on December 19, 1973, in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent agency Office PAC. Taira made his debut as a voice actor in 2004 with a role in the series Forgetful Melody.

Taira is perhaps best known for his role as Yuuya Daigo in the supernatural action series Tokyo Majin. He first voiced the character in the 2007 series Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpucho: Tou and reprised the role for its continuation, Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpucho: Tou 2nd Act. Yuuya Daigo is the captain of his high school's wrestling club and a descendant of a Buddhist monk, whose Star of Fate is Byakko, the White Tiger.

Beyond Tokyo Majin, Taira has built a career with a range of supporting roles in numerous anime series. In 2005, he voiced Jousuke Udono in Basilisk: Kouga Ninpou Chou. His other notable television credits include Aria and Everlue in Fairy Tail, Jared Anderson in Terra Formars and its sequel Terra Formars Revenge, Leonardo in Walkure Romanze, and a minor role in White Album. He has also performed in series such as Welcome to the N.H.K., The Story of Saiunkoku, and Hayate the Combat Butler.

Taira has demonstrated recurring collaborations with specific franchises, notably reprising his role as Jared Anderson across both seasons of Terra Formars. He also contributed to the Fairy Tail franchise with voice work in both the main television series and its original video animation. His special skills include judo and swimming, and he holds a license to operate a floor crane.
