Ralph Lister is a British actor who has worked extensively in film, television, stage, and voice-over. He is recognized within the anime community primarily for his work in English-language dubs.

Lister’s professional background is rooted in classical theatre. Following postgraduate training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), he spent fifteen years performing in mainstage theatre across London, Madrid, Hong Kong, and Edinburgh before relocating to the United States in 1997. His voice acting career includes work for major studios such as Walt Disney Pictures and Revolution Studios.

Within the anime genre, Lister is best known for his role as Walter C. Dornez in both the original Hellsing television series and its OVA sequel, Hellsing Ultimate. In Hellsing Ultimate, his character is formally listed as Walter C. Dornez, and he is also credited with providing commentary for the fourth episode of the OVA series. His other notable anime roles include the characters Choukai in 3x3 Eyes: Legend of the Divine Demon and Archbishop Cross in Amazing Nurse Nanako. In the series L/R: Licensed by Royalty, he voiced both Duke Rand and a character listed as Dice's Man. Additionally, in R.O.D -The TV-, he performed the roles of Alex and the Prime Minister. Lister’s work in Pioneer Entertainment’s anime productions, including Hellsing and 3x3 Eyes, helped establish his presence in the industry during the early years of North American anime distribution.

Beyond anime, Lister has built a significant career as an audiobook narrator, having recorded several hundred titles across a range of genres.
