Gage Knox is an American voice actor known primarily for work in English-language dubs of anime series, particularly those produced during the early 2000s. Knox was born on July 12, 1989.
Knox is most recognized for providing the voice of Max Tate, also known as Max Mizuhara, across the Beyblade anime franchise. This character is a cheerful and good-natured Japanese-American boy who is a highly skilled defense-type blader and the master of the bit-beast Draciel. Knox voiced Max Tate consistently throughout the series run, including the original Beyblade series which aired from 2001, as well as its sequels Beyblade: V-Force and Beyblade: G Revolution. The actor also reprised this role for the animated film Beyblade: The Movie - Fierce Battle, which was released on DVD in March 2005. In addition to the primary role of Max, Knox voiced several minor characters in the Beyblade franchise, credited under names such as Boy B, Boy D, and Loser B.
Beyond the Beyblade series, Knox's acting credits include other projects from the same period. The actor appeared in the television film Veritas: The Quest in 2003 and the series 134 Ways to Fall in Love, also released in 2003. Throughout their voice acting career, Knox collaborated with a range of other performers across the Nelvana-produced dubs of these productions.
