R. Bruce Elliott is an American actor and voice actor known for his extensive work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime series, primarily for Funimation. Born on September 3, 1949, in Renton, Washington, he began his on-screen acting career in the late 1980s, appearing in films such as Fletch Lives and JFK, as well as television series like Walker, Texas Ranger.

His transition into voice acting for anime began in 2003, and over a career spanning more than two decades, he has become a prolific and recognizable presence in the industry, lending his voice to a wide array of characters that often include authoritative figures, mentors, and villains. One of his early notable roles was Richard Moore, the bumbling private detective in the long-running series Case Closed, a character he voiced across the main series, its movies, and specials.
