Mayuko Aoki is a Japanese actress and voice actress born on December 17, 1975 in Kōchi Prefecture, Japan. Her career in entertainment began in 1997 and remains active to the present day. While she has appeared as a live-action actress in television dramas, she is most widely recognized for her extensive work as a voice performer in anime and especially in video games.

One of her notable anime roles was providing the voice of Yoriko Sannou in the Aquarian Age franchise. She portrayed this character in both the 2002 television series Aquarian Age: Sign for Evolution and the 2003 film Aquarian Age the Movie. This character represents her work within the anime medium which also includes appearances in films such as Mayonaka Made and Hikari no Ame.

Aoki is best known for her significant contributions to the Final Fantasy video game series. She is most famously the voice and motion capture actress for the character Yuna, the protagonist of Final Fantasy X. She reprised this voice role for the direct sequel, Final Fantasy X-2, and for subsequent appearances of the character in crossover titles such as Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy and the Kingdom Hearts series, where she also voiced Selphie Tilmitt. Her voice work in the franchise extends to the role of Seven, a playable character in Final Fantasy Type-0.

Beyond voice acting, Aoki has a notable career as a motion capture actor, often referred to as a "taiyu" in Japanese credits. Before voicing Yuna, she provided motion capture performances for several iconic heroines of the franchise, including Rinoa Heartilly and Edea Kramer in Final Fantasy VIII, Princess Garnet in Final Fantasy IX, and Tifa Lockhart in the film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

In addition to her acting and motion capture work, Aoki has contributed to music production for the Final Fantasy series. She performed vocal arrangements of songs from Final Fantasy X, including the track feel, an arrangement of the Hymn of the Fayth, and Kimi e, a vocal version of Yuna's Ballad, which were released on character-themed vocal collections.
