Dieter Landuris is a German actor, voice actor, and singer who has extensive credits in live-action film and television as well as in dubbing foreign productions into German. He was born on August 12, 1961, in Munich, Germany. His performance training began with a classical ballet education at the Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung from 1980 to 1982, followed by acting studies at the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule in Munich from 1982 to 1985. He also studied American Studies and architecture at the Technical University of Munich.

In the field of anime voice acting, Landuris is best known for his work on the InuYasha franchise. He provides the German voice for the primary antagonist Naraku, a role he has performed across multiple series and films. His work as Naraku includes the original InuYasha television series, the second animated film InuYasha the Movie 2: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass, and the sequel series InuYasha: The Final Act. The original Japanese voice actor for Naraku in all these productions is Toshiyuki Morikawa.

Beyond his anime roles, Landuris has an extensive career as a dubbing voice actor for a wide range of international films and television series. He has become the German voice for actor Sharlto Copley, dubbing his performances as Wikus van de Merwe in District 9 and as Kruger in Elysium. He also dubbed actor Robert Gustafsson in the Swedish comedy films The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared and its sequel The 101-Year-Old Man Who Skipped Out on the Bill and Disappeared. His other notable dubbing credits include David Nykl as Dr. Radek Zelenka in the science fiction series Stargate: Atlantis, Geoffrey Owens on The Cosby Show, Casey Kasem as the voice of Shaggy in various Scooby-Doo productions, and Gary Burghoff as Corporal Radar O'Reilly in the German dub of the television series MAS*H.

Landuris has received recognition for his performance work. In 2010, he won the Golden Curtain audience award from the Berlin Theater Club for his role in the song drama Ewig Jung at the Renaissance Theatre in Berlin. In 2021, he received an Audience Choice Award at the Beverly Hills International Film Festival and won the award for Best Supporting Actor at the New York International Film Festival for his role in the film Stand Up.
