Yael Elhadad

Yael Elhadad is a French actress known for her work in dubbing, particularly for her role in the anime series InuYasha. She provides the French voice for the character Sango across multiple installments of the franchise, including the television series Inuyasha as well as the films InuYasha the Movie: Affections Touching Across Time and InuYasha the Movie 2: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass. In the same series, she also voiced the character Nazuna.

Beyond her work in anime, Elhadad has an extensive background in theatre and voice acting. She is a graduate of the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris and later trained at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in Paris. Her stage career includes performances at the Comédie Française in Les fourberies de Scapin by Molière, as well as work with directors such as Pascal Rambert, Daniel San Pedro, and Catherine Anne. She has also worked as a stage director and is a member of the artistic collective La Générale in Paris.

In addition to her stage work, Elhadad is a regular voice artist for Radio France and has been a reader for the France Inter program Quand les Dieux rôdaient sur la Terre. Her dubbing credits outside of anime include a role in the French version of the animated film Chicken Run: La Menace Nuggets (the French title for Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget).
