Hirakazu Shibayama

Hirakazu Shibayama is a Japanese voice actor and narrator. He was born on May 21 and is originally from Akita Prefecture. He graduated from the TV Asahi Voice Actor School and was formerly affiliated with Ask Management and Sigma Seven.
Shibayama has built a career largely focused on supporting and guest roles across numerous anime series. One of his notable parts was Dark 03 in the 2003 series Zentrix, also known as Jikuu Boukenki Zentrix. During the early 2000s, he appeared in several high-profile productions. In the 2003 remake of Astro Boy, he voiced multiple characters including Eddie, Dr. Emile, Dattan, and Mamma. He also contributed to the Macross franchise with a role as an operator in the OVA Macross Zero.
Throughout the mid-2000s, his work included roles in Black Cat as a spy and soldier, and in The Third: The Girl with the Blue Eye as a merchant and shopkeeper. He was also part of the voice cast for the racing anime IGPX: Immortal Grand Prix. His later television credits include appearances as an announcer in Chihayafuru and a reporter in the Iron Man anime. Beyond animation, he has worked on dubbing for foreign films and series, as well as providing narration.
