Adam Cawley

Description
Adam Cawley is a Canadian actor, writer, and improviser currently based in Los Angeles. He is an alumnus of The Second City Mainstage and the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal, and he is a three-time Canadian Comedy Award winner, including the award for Best Male Improviser in Canada.

While Cawley is known for his live-action roles on series such as Ghosts (CBS), Workin' Moms (Netflix), and Baroness Von Sketch Show (IFC), he has also performed voice work for several animated productions. One of his notable anime voice roles is Blader Gai (also spelled Blader Guy) in the series Beyblade: Shogun Steel, an English dub of the Japanese anime. This series is a spin-off from the original Beyblade franchise and originally aired from 2012 to 2013. In addition to Beyblade: Shogun Steel, his animation voice credits include the series Totally Spies and Looped.

Beyond performing, Cawley has worked as a writer, including as a staff writer on the International Emmy-nominated series Workin' Moms. He has also created, co-written, and co-starred in several television projects, such as Guidance, Current Affairs, and the CBC digital series Body Buds. His improv tutorial podcast, The Backline, won the Canadian Podcast Award for Best Educational Series.
