Langley McArol is the professional name of Michael Shawn Langley, an American actor, voice actor, screenwriter, filmmaker, and producer born on January 19, 1976 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He graduated from Ohio University, where he studied Theatre, Music Theory, and Social Science, and also attended the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in Manhattan on an audition scholarship.

As an anime voice actor, McArol is best known for providing English dub voices for several notable series. He is most recognized for the role of Idomu Yudaiji in the English version of CLAMP School Detectives from Bandai Entertainment. His other English dub voice credits include multiple characters in the You're Under Arrest series, work on Virtua Fighter, and voice roles in several Urusei Yatsura films. In the Urusei Yatsura movie series, he voiced characters such as Kakugiri and Ryuunosuke's Father across multiple installments between 1983 and 1991.

Beyond his voice acting work, McArol has appeared in live-action television series including One Tree Hill, Dawson's Creek, and the Showtime series Going to California. He has also worked as a screenwriter and independent filmmaker, receiving recognition for his work behind the camera. His career includes roles in films such as Teen Spirit on ABC Family, the movie adaptation of The Space木偶历险记, and For Love of the Game. He has worked as both an actor and producer on various independent film projects.
