Rin Aizawa
Description
Rin Aizawa is a Japanese former voice actress and singer best known for providing the voice of Ruri Kurosaki in the anime series Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V. She was born on September 22, 1995, in Tokyo, Japan. Aizawa began her career as a voice actress with her role in Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V, which started airing in 2014. Her performance as Ruri Kurosaki, a key character from the Xyz Dimension, remains her most prominent voice acting credit.
Beyond her voice work, Aizawa was also active in music related to the series. Under the alias Ruri Shirosaki, she formed a pop duo named Pendulum☆Cute with voice actress Arisa Kiyoto, who used the alias Masumi Anzu. Together, they performed One Step, which served as the first ending theme song for Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V.
In addition to her anime voice role, Aizawa appeared in several live-action Japanese films and television series. Her acting credits include roles in the 2008 film The Scarecrow, the 2008 film Oneechanbara, the 2009 series Tokusou Keiji Hyperion, the 2015 film Hentai Ningyou: Shitai o Mede Yubisaki, and the 2015 live-action adaptation of Hakuouki SSL. She also appeared in a promotional video series by Konami as a charisma student character.
After completing her work with Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V and graduating from college, Rin Aizawa left the entertainment industry on March 31, 2017, to broaden her horizons. Consequently, subsequent voicework for her character Ruri Kurosaki in later projects like Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links was taken over by another voice actress.
