Yurie Yamashita is a Japanese voice actress born on February 21, 1989, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent agency Office Osawa. Before beginning her voice acting career, she participated in the NHK Cup National High School Broadcasting Contest in the reading division in 2005 and 2006.

Yamashita’s career in anime includes a range of supporting roles across numerous series in the late 2000s and early 2010s. One of her earliest roles was in the 2008 series The Tower of Druaga: The Aegis of Uruk as a system operator. In 2009, she voiced the character Tomoka Yamazaki in the science fiction series Shangri-La. She continued to appear in various productions, including a role as a maid in My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute in 2010 and as the character Chalchihuitlicue in the final season of Shakugan no Shana in 2012.

Yamashita is best known for her portrayal of Shiori Asagiri in the Kyoto Animation productions Tamako Market and its sequel film Tamako Love Story. Shiori Asagiri is a classmate of the main character, Tamako, and a member of the badminton club, known for her calm and serious personality. Yamashita reprised this role for the 2014 film Tamako Love Story, where the character plays a significant part in the narrative.

Her other notable voice roles from this period include Mary in the mecha anime series Majestic Prince, as well as minor parts in Tokyo Ravens, the 2005 reboot of Doraemon, and Free!. She also participated in the 2016 film Gekijōban Majestic Prince: Kakusei no Idenshi, providing the voice for the navigation system.

Her career reflects a steady presence in the industry with several key collaborations. Her work on the Tamako Market franchise and Majestic Prince series, including their respective film sequels, highlights recurring partnerships with the same production crews and studios.
