Alan Chow

Description
Alan Chow, also known as Alan Chikin Chow, is an American actor and voice actor who performed in English-language dubs of several Japanese anime series in the mid-2010s. He is best known for his role as the Chinese table tennis prodigy Kong Wenge, also referred to as China, in the sports anime Ping Pong the Animation. The English dub for Ping Pong was produced by Funimation Entertainment and released on home video in June 2015, with Christopher Bevins serving as the ADR director.

Beyond his work in Ping Pong, Chow also voiced the character Orenami in the long-running pirate adventure series One Piece. His other anime voice credits from this period include roles in Soul Eater Not and Absolute Duo. Chow studied screenwriting and business administration at the University of Southern California, a background that later contributed to his work as a writer, producer, and digital creator. While he had minor on-screen acting roles in series such as Grey's Anatomy and 13 Reasons Why, his voice work in anime represents an early chapter in his broader entertainment career before he became known as a prominent creator of online short-form content.
