Yūyu Shōji, known professionally as Umeka Shōji, is a Japanese voice actress and narrator. She was born on August 20, 1985, in Kanagawa Prefecture and is affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production. A graduate of the Aoni Juku Tokyo School, she began her voice acting career in the mid-2000s. Her debut television anime role was as Sara Bihada in the 2008 series Bihada Ichizoku.

Shōji has built a diverse career with a wide range of anime, game, and narration credits. In television anime, she is known for her role as the heroine Neko Musume in the sixth installment of GeGeGe no Kitaro, which aired from 2018 to 2020. She originally auditioned for a different character but was later asked to try out for Neko Musume, a role she had strongly desired. Her other significant anime roles include Amani Kō in Waccha Primagi!, Hanazono Eri in Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters, and Kurea Kurihara in Given. She has also had recurring roles in long-running series such as One Piece and Chibi Maruko-chan.

In the realm of video games, Shōji has voiced numerous characters. She is known for her roles as Hanbei Takenaka and Lady Aya in the Samurai Warriors series, Josette Capua in The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky series, and Chihiro Kōriyama in Tokimeki Memorial 4. Her recent game credits include Zenobia in Fate/Grand Order and Ilda Enriquez in God Eater 3.

Shōji voiced the character Eshune in the 2022 anime series Futoku no Guild (Immoral Guild). Eshune is the daughter of the guild receptionist Enome and is notable for her desire to see her mother marry the protagonist, Kikuru Madan.

Her career includes notable recurring collaborations. She has worked on multiple entries in the Samurai Warriors, The Legend of Heroes, and La Corda d'Oro series. In addition to anime and games, she has an extensive career as a narrator for a wide variety of television programs, including sports coverage and variety shows. One notable achievement in her career was her casting as Amani Kō in Waccha Primagi!; she has commented that the role felt like a destiny or mission, as it connected to her early inspirations for becoming a voice actress and her interest in Takarazuka Revue.
