Christian Heiner Wolf is a German voice actor and on-camera performer known for his work in the German dubbing industry. He was born in Germany and spent his childhood and youth in Dresden and Munich, in addition to living in Missouri in the United States for a period during his teenage years. This international background allowed him to acquire a natural General American accent, enabling him to work in both German and English language productions. He has been active as a professional voice actor since 1999.
Wolf began his acting career on stage after an accidental encounter with a theater director led to an audition for a production of Goethe's Torquato Tasso at the Gasteig Theater in Munich. He went on to perform in various off-theater productions for over six years while also studying Geography and Economics at the Technische Universität in Munich. In 2003, he began appearing in short and debut films. One of his notable early achievements was receiving the Golden Mask award at the 1st International Film Acting Festival in Cologne for his performance in the short film Lucid Lost.
As a voice actor, Christian Heiner Wolf has contributed to numerous anime series and Western productions. He is recognized for providing the German voice for the character Knell in the anime series Blood Lad, a role originally performed by Japanese voice actor Yuuki Kaji. His other anime voice roles include Masanobu Houjou in Gantz, Ian in Beyblade, Troy in Pokémon, Takashi Inamori in Gantz, Takumi Tokiha in My-HiME, and a voice for Houjou in InuYasha.
Beyond anime, his voice work spans a wide range of international films and television series.
