Moises Palacios

Description
Moisés Palacios is a Mexican voice actor, director, and translator with a career spanning over four decades in the dubbing industry. He began his work in dubbing in 1977, entering the field with guidance from figures such as Juan Domingo Méndez and his cousin Juan Manuel Palacios. He considers the late Mexican voice actor Jorge Arvizu, known as El Tata, to be one of his most important teachers and friends.

While Palacios is widely recognized for his extensive work in animated films and live-action dubbing for Hollywood productions, his portfolio also includes significant contributions to anime and animated series. Among his most noted early anime roles is Roy Fokker in the classic series Robotech, a character also known as Roy Faulkner in some adaptations. He has also lent his voice to other notable anime titles, including Grendizer as Daisuke Uman and Duke Fleed, and Naruto as the character Sasori.

In contemporary anime, Palacios has taken on prominent roles in series distributed by streaming platforms. He voices the character James Coleman in the anime series Great Pretender. He is also part of the cast for the series Journal of the Mysterious Creatures, known in Spanish as Registro de Criaturas Fantásticas. His other anime credits include roles in Neon Genesis Evangelion, Voltron: Defender of the Universe, and the film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, where he voiced Master Yupa.

Beyond acting, Moisés Palacios has worked extensively as a dubbing director and translator, with notable credits including directing the Spanish dubbing for the films of Stanley Kubrick. His career is marked by frequent collaborations with a wide range of other voice actors in the Mexican and Latin American dubbing industry; he has worked alongside Arturo Mercado in numerous productions more than any other voice actor. Palacios is also a musician, music producer, writer, and has participated in various stage musical productions, such as Cats, Godspell, and Little Shop of Horrors.
