Akina Abe is a Japanese voice actress born on April 15, 1980, in Tokyo, Japan. She began her career in the mid-2000s under her former stage name, Sachie Abe. Her early anime roles included Rika Matsuda in the 2005 series Sugar Sugar Rune and Sora Fujiwara in the 2006 series Magikano. Over the years, she has been affiliated with several agencies, including the Toritori Office until June 2014, after which she worked as a freelancer before joining Miki Production and later returning to freelance work.

Abe is best known for her role as Assassin in the 2011 television series Fate/Zero. She has continued to voice this character in other franchise installments, including the 2013 series Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya and the mobile game Fate/Grand Order, where she voices the character of Hundred-Faced Hassan. Her other notable anime roles include Shota Meguro and Operator B in the OVA series Gattai Robot Atranger, a young Nagasumi Michishio in My Bride is a Mermaid, Korudine and Leia Second in Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar, and Ryu in RGB Adventure. In 2020, she had a guest role as an actress in the series Jujutsu Kaisen. Beyond anime, she also provided the Japanese voice for the character May in the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Throughout her career, Akina Abe has worked across a variety of genres, contributing to television series, OVAs, and video games. Her ability to voice different character types, from the mystical Assassin in the Fate series to supporting roles in romantic comedies and action series, demonstrates her range as a performer.
