Maïk Darah, born Marie-Christine Darah on February 7, 1954, in Pantin, France, is a prolific French actress and voice director known for an extensive career in dubbing. Her early artistic training began in childhood with operetta performances at the Théâtre du Châtelet from age nine, followed by studies at the Paris Opera Dance School between the ages of twelve and fifteen, and later classes in theatre, singing, and various dance styles. While she has appeared in live-action film and television, her most significant body of work lies in voice acting, where she has provided voices for thousands of productions.
Within the realm of anime, Maïk Darah is recognized for a variety of significant roles. She is notably the French voice of Rem, the female shinigami, in the series Death Note. Her other anime credits include Kanoe in X, Charlotte de Polignac and Jeanne de la Motte in The Rose of Versailles, Tamara in Cyborg 009, Mère-Grand in The Promised Neverland, Grizelda in Cybersix, and Vanessa Enoteca in Black Clover.
