Kandido Uranga is a Spanish actor born on May 27, 1955, in Zumaia, in the Basque Country province of Gipuzkoa, Spain. He began his performance training in a theatre workshop at the University of Leioa under the direction of Luis Iturri and later studied at the Antzerti School of Dramatic Art in the Basque Country. His career in fiction and dubbing spans several decades, beginning with his film debut in Vacas in 1992. Beyond voice work, he has maintained an extensive career as a screen and television actor, appearing in series such as Goenkale and films including Errementari and Intemperie.

As a voice actor, Uranga is primarily known for his contributions to Basque language dubs of various animated series and films. One of his notable voice roles is providing the Basque dub voice for Solomon Muto in the movie Yu-Gi-Oh: The Movie. His additional voice credits in the Basque dub include the character Zeff in the long-running series One Piece and Mr. Kumada in Kiteretsu Daihyakka. He has also contributed voice work to animated feature films such as Elcano and Magellan: The First Voyage Around the World and Cristóbal Molón. These roles highlight his work in bringing both anime and animated characters to Spanish-speaking audiences through regional dubbing.
