Lulu Chiang

Description
Lulu Chiang is a pseudonym for a well-established American voice actress known primarily for her work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime series. The name Lulu Chiang was used as an alias during the early to mid-2000s, alongside other alternatives such as Jennifer Sekiguchi and Tiffany Hsieh. Her career in voice acting began in the early 2000s, and she has since become recognized for a wide range of roles across anime, cartoons, video games, and films.

Under the name Lulu Chiang, she provided the English voice for several notable characters. In the series Mermaid Forest, she played the role of Rin, the daughter of a village headman who searches for mermaid flesh to cure her ill father. She voiced Matsuri Saegusa in the series Kamichu!, a role credited to Lulu Chiang even though the character was performed by Rika Morinaga in the original Japanese version. Additionally, she took on the role of Kirie Kojima, one of the main characters in the comedy-fantasy series Girls Bravo. These credits appear in productions from around 2004 and 2005.

The use of the Lulu Chiang alias was part of a pattern early in her career where she performed under several different names. Those who worked under the Lulu Chiang alias also performed under their primary professional name on major series including Naruto as Hinata Hyuga, Bleach as Orihime Inoue, and the Viz Media redub of Sailor Moon as the title character Usagi Tsukino. The alias Lulu Chiang appears to have been phased out after her work on several mid-2000s titles, with subsequent roles credited to her legal name. Beyond acting, she has also worked as an ADR director, writer, and producer on various projects.
