Marky Cielo
Description
Marky Cielo was a Filipino actor and dancer who worked as a voice actor for the Filipino-language dub of the anime series Bleach. He is primarily known for providing the voice of the main protagonist, Ichigo Kurosaki, in both the television series and its first theatrical film.
Cielo began his career in entertainment after winning the reality talent competition StarStruck in 2006. In 2007, he, along with fellow StarStruck graduates, took on voice acting roles for the popular anime Bleach, which was airing on the GMA Network in the Philippines. His most significant voice role was as Ichigo Kurosaki for the Filipino dub of the Bleach television series.
In addition to the television series, Cielo reprised his role as the voice of Ichigo Kurosaki for the 2006 animated film Bleach the Movie: Memories of Nobody. This voice performance, completed in 2008, was his last credit in voice acting. His work on the Bleach franchise represents his major contribution to anime voice acting.
