Ulrike Lau is a German voice actress, dialogue writer, and dubbing director born on September 25, 1956, in Hamburg, Germany. She relocated to Berlin at a very young age and later studied acting at the Mozarteum in Salzburg from 1979 to 1982. Since 1990, she has worked as a freelance voice artist, lending her warm and dark voice to numerous characters in film and television.
In the field of anime, Lau is recognized for her role as Reiko Kusakabe in the series Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. Her other work in animation includes providing the German voice for the character Abuelita in the Pixar film Coco.
