Keijin Okuda is a Japanese voice actor born on January 27, 1972, in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. He is also known for his work as a stage director, playwright, and theater producer. Okuda graduated from the literature department of Hosei University, majoring in English literature, and later earned a master's degree in drama education from Tokyo Gakugei University. He also works as an English teacher.
Okuda began his professional career in 1997 after graduating from the Bungakuza Research Institute. He joined the talent agency Mausu Promotion in 2001, where he remained until 2008, and has been affiliated with Theatre Echo since 2009. Beyond voice acting, he is the founder and leader of the theater group Tokyo BLOODYFOOL, where he serves as a producer, playwright, and director. His stage work has earned recognition, including the Toyoshima Newspaper Award at the Ikebukuro Theatre Festival for one of his productions. He has also worked as a dubbing director for Western films and television series.
Among his most recognized anime roles is Zaku Abumi in the long-running series Naruto. In the Bleach franchise, he provides the voice for Akon, a 12th Division officer, a role he has reprised in the television series, films, and video games, including the 2022 sequel Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. He also voiced Gotta and Butsuma Senju in Naruto Shippuden. As specified, he plays the character Mayuge, which translates to Eyebrows, in the 2005 anime series Tide-Line Blue. His other television animation credits include Shinji Yuuki in Stigma of the Wind, Mr. Roderick in Emma: A Victorian Romance, and various roles in series such as Chrono Crusade, Elfen Lied, and Lupin the Third.
