Kristine Sa

Kristine Sa is a Vietnamese Canadian singer and songwriter known for her work in the anime community. She was born on June 6, 1982, in Song Be, Vietnam, and later moved to Toronto, Canada, where she grew up. Her career began when a friend contacted Nemesis Records about her webpage, leading to her being signed after sending a demo. While attending York University, she released her debut album I Never Knew in 2002. She gained popularity through the anime convention circuit, performing at events such as AnimeFest in Dallas and FanimeCon in San Jose. Beyond music, Sa has also hosted and produced Vietnamese American talk shows including The Kristine Sa Show on VAN-TV and Heart to Heart with Kristine Sa on SBTN.

Within anime, Sa is known for her involvement with Funimation Entertainment's English-language releases. Her work includes performing the English opening song for the anime series Suzuka. She made her voice acting debut providing the English voice for the character Nana Shirakawa in the same series. Sa has also been involved in other Funimation projects, including the company's releases of One Piece and Ouran High School Host Club. Her work in the anime community has led to her being affectionately referred to as KikiSasa by some fans.
