Ruru Madrid is a Filipino actor who has performed voice work for anime productions, most notably providing the voice of Uryu Ishida in the Filipino dub of the second Bleach animated feature film, Bleach: The DiamondDust Rebellion. This voice role was produced for the GMA 7 network dub of the film.

In 2018, Madrid took on the challenge of voice acting for the animated series Barangay 143, which has been described as the first Filipino anime series. At a press conference for the show, he noted that voice acting is different from simply dubbing lines, comparing the process to performing in radio dramas. The series was a co-production involving Philippine, Singapore, and Japanese companies, including TV Asahi. His co-stars in Barangay 143 included fellow Filipino performers Julie Anne San Jose and Kelley Day.
