David Neil Black is an American voice actor recognized for his work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime, primarily during the 2000s. He is best known as the voice of the protagonist Ryoma Echizen in the English version of the long-running sports anime series The Prince of Tennis. Black voiced the character for the VIZ Media dub of the series, which aired on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block. In addition to the lead role, he also provided the voice for the character Akira Kamio, a rival tennis player from Fudomine Middle School.

A working musician as well as an actor, Black was the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for the Orange County-based rock band 7k during the time he recorded his voice work for The Prince of Tennis. His other voice acting credits from this period include a role in the English version of the anime series Duel Masters and the video game EverQuest II, where he voiced various merchant characters. In the anime series Figyua 17 Tsubasa and Hikaru, he played the role of Sho Aizawa. Black collaborated with Salami Studios and VIZ Media for his work on The Prince of Tennis. He held a role in the series Sword Art Online as well. Outside of performing, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio, Television, and Film from the University of Texas at Austin.
