Christian Schult is a German actor and voice actor known for his work in dubbing foreign-language films and television series into German. He was born on February 3, 1954, and is the son of the renowned German dubbing actor Rolf Schult. Christian Schult completed his acting training at the Fritz-Kirchhoff-Schauspielschule in Berlin and has lived in Munich. His voice bears a strong resemblance to his father's, which has influenced his career. His work spans a variety of media, including dubbing for live-action productions, documentaries, audiobooks, and video games.

In the field of anime, Schult is recognized for providing the German voice of Nenki Mino in the series Basilisk: Die Chroniken der Kouga Ninja, also known as Basilisk: The Kouga Ninja Scrolls, from 2005. In this series, he dubbed the character originally voiced in Japanese by Kenji Utsumi. Another notable anime role from the same year includes Seiji Ochiai in the series Speed Grapher.

Beyond his work in anime, Schult has a number of prominent dubbing roles. He is particularly known as the longstanding German voice of Detective John Munch, played by actor Richard Belzer, in the American television series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, a role he performed in over 240 episodes. He has also provided his voice for actors such as Patrick Stewart, whom he dubs in the animated series Family Guy, as well as Marlon Brando, Anthony Hopkins, and Gary Cooper in various films. Following the death of his father, he took over the role of dubbing Robert Redford in the film All Is Lost. His voice is also featured in video games, including roles in Gothic 3 and Mafia II. While not exhaustive of his entire filmography, these roles illustrate the breadth of his voice acting career, of which his anime work is one part.
