Makoto Nagai is a Japanese voice actor born on March 1, 1967 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the theater company Gekidan Subaru. Nagai is best known for his role as Shou Tucker in both the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime series and its 2009 remake, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Beyond this notable performance, his anime voice credits include Rokusuke in Naruto, Tanaka in Samurai Champloo, a bartender in The Big O, and Professor Yamaguchi in the Japanese dub of the Marvel anime series Iron Man. His work also extends to tokusatsu, providing voicework as an announcer in Kamen Rider Build. In addition to animation, Nagai has performed Japanese dubbing for foreign films, including roles in The Hangover film series and X-Men 2.
