Luigi Montini was an Italian actor and voice actor born in Milan, Italy, on February 24, 1934. Although he began his artistic career in Rome with small stage roles, his work eventually spanned film, television, and dubbing. In live-action cinema, Montini appeared in the 1991 Academy Award-winning film Mediterraneo, directed by Gabriele Salvatores. He also had a significant presence on Italian television, with roles in popular series such as Un medico in famiglia, Il maresciallo Rocca, and I Cesaroni.

As a voice actor, Montini is recognized for his work in the Italian dubbing of foreign productions. One of his notable anime voice roles is providing the first Italian voice for the character John Silver in the television series Treasure Island.
